Instalation Linux (Debian)

Now we are going to start to learn how to install the network operating system, however I just showing the installation of debian 5 or often referred to debian lenny. But in this post, I'm using Oracle application Virtualbox, which is an application for creating operating system images on 1 PCs. In addition, I install this Debian-based CLI is not a GUI. Can you know that Linux can be controlled by one or more of the command-line interface (command line interface or CLI), text-based graphical user interface (or GUI graphical user interface, which is generally a default configuration to the desktop version). Next time I will show the tutorial in GUI base debian lenny :)

To download oracle virtualbox we can download at https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads After the download finished, install virtual box.

Virtual box has been installed, it is time we start the installation on debian lenny

The steps are as follows :

1.       Open the VirtualBox VM Application Manager and click the new icon

2.       When appearing dialogue box, click next

3.      Select "linux" on "operating system"

4.       Select  “debian” on “version”.

5.      Then click “next” on dialogue box

6.       To change the size of the memory used on debian leny on VirtualBox click "next" in the dialog box below.

7.       To create a new hard drive select "Creat new hard disk" and then "next".

8.       Click “next” on dialogue box that appears.

9.       Select “Dynamically expending stronge” then “next”.

10.  Write your location name on “Location” then “next”.

11.  To create a virtual hard drive click "next"

12.   Here's an early appearance before you start using debian leny to be installed in VirtualBox. Click the icon "mulai"

13.   To start installing debian leny click next.

14.   To select the media you want to use for the Installation Source Media change on.

15.   After selecting the media used, click Finish

16.   To start the installation of debian leny on VirtualBox select Install.

17.   Choose language english for installation.

18.   Wait for the installation process

.

19.   Select layouts keyboard british america.

20.  Wait for the process to detect hard disk for CD-ROM

.

21.   To configure select continue

22.   Enter a domain name and then choose continue.

23.   To determine the time, select the city in which you reside. enter

24.   To repartition the hard disk select integrated.

25.   Do enter to mwmilih hard disk will be partitioned.

26. Select hard disk partition patterns to be used. For example a separate Partition/Home.

27.   Select yes then enter.

28.   Wait for the process to repartition the hard disk.

29.  Select Finish to partition and write changes to disk

30. To write the changes to the disk select Yes.

31.   Enter the password for the root account.

32.   Re-enter the password to vertifikasi.

33.   Enter the full name for the new user.

34.   Write a name for its own account.

35.   Enter the password for the new user.

36.   Enter a new user password again to do vertifikasi.

37.   Wait for the Setup process until completion  root

38.  If you want to scan another CD/DVD select Yes, otherwise select No.

39.   To use a network mirror select Yes, otherwise select No

40.   Wait for the process of selecting and installing software to finish.

41.   Select system default and then enter.

42.   To install the boot loader, select Yes.

43.  Wait for the boot loader GRUB process until its conclusion.

44.   Select continue to proceed with the installation process.

45.   After the process is finished then it will appear intalasi the display as follows.

46.   Please wait a minute when will login.

47.   To enter the name of users and passwords when will login.
